With the Smartnetz Gasreader 5 PRO you can easily read your gas meter digitally – without any technical knowledge.
The reader is compatible with many common gas meter models (BK / BK4, BK2.5, BK6 M, T, MT – see illustration) and can be easily set up via the app.
The PRO version also includes an alarm notification if a gas leak occurs.
The gas concentration is displayed in the app using a traffic light system and can be read directly in Home Assistant via MQTT.
The analog value as well as four pre-warning levels before gas detection can also be integrated into Home Assistant (via script) and are preconfigured.
Tasmota can still be used, but it is no longer required.
All Tasmota features such as MQTT, meter correction and consumption monitoring can now be configured worldwide via the Smartnetz App.
We deliberately continue to rely on Tasmota.
Soon you will be able to control all your Tasmota ESP32 devices directly via the Smartnetz App.
For example, you can control Tasmota smart plugs depending on power consumption or gas usage.
You can also integrate your external power sensor into the Smartnetz App.
